This painting is of Timberline Lodge, that is located in Government Camp on Mt. Hood. It was constructed in 1936-1938 during the Great Depression providing jobs for many people. After its completion in 1938, President Franklin Roosevelt visited this area and gave a speech infront of the lodge.
